Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of LaunchGP (“LaunchGP”, “we”, “us”) at launchgp.io. By creating an account, listing a product, voting or buying anything on LaunchGP, you agree to them.

What LaunchGP is

LaunchGP is a launch directory run like a motorsport season. Products race in a weekly Grand Prix, where votes from signed-in people set the running order, and in LaunchGP Endurance, a permanent ranking built from traffic, verified revenue and maker activity. The rules, points and prices are published on the site and may change for future rounds; a change never applies to a round that has already started.

Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox: it is your account. One person, one account. Accounts created to vote more than once, or to vote for your own products, may be removed along with their votes.

Listing a product

You may list products you own or have the right to promote. Your listing (name, tagline, link, description) must be accurate and must not be illegal, deceptive, adult, or malware. We may hide a listing or disqualify an entry that breaks these terms, without a refund when the entry was free.

A free Grand Prix seat requires a visible link to LaunchGP on the page you listed (the badge). We check it when you enter and again when the round starts. A car without the badge at lights out does not start.

Votes and fair play

Votes decide the Grand Prix running order. Money never buys votes, points or positions. We keep votes that fail our fair-play checks (new accounts, many accounts from one network, vote swaps between makers) out of the count, and we may disqualify entries that try to manipulate the race. Our count is final.

What you can buy

All prices are one-time payments in US dollars, shown before you pay, processed by Stripe:

• Grid slots (P1 to P6) for one Grand Prix of your choice. A slot sets where your car starts and how it is shown during that week. It does not change votes, points or results. Links from paid slots use rel=“sponsored”.
• Season Pass: a number of Grand Prix entries in one calendar-year season, without the badge, plus traffic telemetry for your products.
• Round naming and trackside billboards for one round, shown with a rel=“sponsored” link. Sponsor content must follow the listing rules above; we may refuse or remove it with a refund.

Endurance and Stripe keys

To verify revenue for an Endurance class, you may give us a Stripe restricted key with read-only access to subscriptions. We use it only to compute your monthly recurring revenue once a day, store it encrypted, and delete it when you remove it. You can race without one, in the Rookie class.

Backlinks

Dofollow links are earned by results: a Grand Prix podium, or a top spot in an Endurance class. We may change link attributes to follow search engine guidelines.

Liability

LaunchGP is provided as is. We do not promise any amount of traffic, votes, rankings or revenue. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
